Jaws is a screen reader. In very simple words it allows the computer to become a talking computer. There are many screen reader in the market. Basically a screen reader makes the person with vision impairment work on the computer just like anybody else who is sighted.

They can work as efficiently and productively, infact I would say even more because they use the key board and do not use the mouse like us. So the screen reader is the way that the person with vision impairment can work in a company by being productive and also be an asset to the company

For a person with vision impairment using the screen reader as a computer opens amazing doors for them. For example when you are studying it allows you to access so many more books than the books that might be regularly available, but not everything would be in print or Braille or audio form. So when anything is available on the computer they have access to that, they have access to internet which means they have access to any information in the world. For your own entertainment for your daily living there are so many channels and avenues available, when you use the computer. It helps you to get employment. These are its few factors
