Read India Movement
Read India is a people's initiative led by Pratham to ensure improvement in basic learning in reading-comprehension, writing, and arithmetic. It is not only about reading. Read India focuses on Std I-II at the alphabets/words and numbers/place value level and on Std III-V at the fluent reading, and solving arithmetic problems. Higher Std are not excluded, but are not the primary focus.

Right to Education : M V Foundation
The passing of the 86th Amendment to the Constitution of India making education a fundamental right in 2002. The constitutional amendment has provided for free and compulsory education of all children in the age group of 6 to 14 years as a fundamental right under article 21A of the Constitution, in such a manner as the State may, by law, determine. It is four years already the State has not found the time to ensure that an Act is passed as mandated by the constitution of India.

The Right to Education : Let's Right the Wrongs - CRY
In a country, which boasts of unprecedented economic development and growth, half the population of children between the ages of 6 - 18 years do not go to school. Is this an India rising, an India that is poised to take over the world? As held by the Supreme Court, the Right to Education is a fundamental right at par with The Right to Life. The Supreme Court also directed that in conjunction with Article 45, the State needs to provide free and compulsory education for all children below the age of 14 years.
